NATIONAL ACADEMIC DEPOSITORY (NAD)
The
university has gone live with over One Lakh Students Degree Data on the NAD portal
(http://nad.gov.in),
a national level project initiated by the Ministry of Human Resource
Development (MHRD) and governed through University Grants Commission (UGC).
The
NAD is a 24X7 online store house of all academic awards viz. certificates,
diplomas, degrees, mark-sheets etc. duly digitised and lodged by academic
institutions/ boards/ eligibility assessment bodies. NAD not only ensures easy
access to and retrieval of an academic award but also facilitates Students/
Prospective Employers/ Educational Institutions to get the Online Verification
of a student’s certificates.

Dayanand Unviersity will gradually upload all alumni Students Degrees Data via
CDSL Ventures Limited’s digital depository - https://cvl.nad.co.in.
Following

Steps for Student Registration on NAD Portal
and Approval of Student Certificates by M.D.
University:
1. A
student is required to visit CDSL Ventures Limited (CVL) portal https://cvl.nad.co.in.
2. Student
should create a Student Login on CVL NAD portal by providing Academic Program
and Personal details as required.
Note:
A working e-mail ID and Phone Number are required for student authentication/communication
(through One Time Passwords OTP).
3. Once
a student successfully creates a Student Login:
a. Then
a Student Registration Approval request is sent by the CVL NAD portal to M.D.
University for verification/approval of student details.
b. Also,
an email with subject “NAD Student Registration Details” is
sent by CVL NAD portal to student’s e-mail ID. Student is required to generate
“Student Profile” by clicking the “Click here” hyperlink in this
e-mail. Student must Save/Print this Student Profile.
4. Student
is required to physically visit university’s NAD Helpdesk with hard copy of
Student Profile and Original copies of academic program(s) to get the one-time
NAD Student Registration Approval from university.
5. Once
the university approves the Student Profile/Request in NAD portal, then Student’s NAD Registration Login is activated
and student gets a NAD ID.
6. Now,
a student or his/her Prospective Employer/ Educational Institution may access
and authenticate Student Degree Data through NAD’s online verification.
