About Us

Happitude Laboratory was established with the aim of promoting the most basic and yet the most elusive of all human emotions- Happiness.  Happiness is the experience of joy, contentment, or positive well-being, combined with a sense that one’s life is good, meaningful, and worthwhile. This description resonates with the ultimate concept of  Sat-Chit-Ananda. The Happitude laboratory explores happiness from this indigenous approach, taking into account the native biological, psychological, social and spiritual aspects. It offers students and staff real-life techniques for nurturing their happiness. Research suggests that up to 40 percent of happiness depends on one’s habits and day-to-day activities. So, the lab offers experiential  learning of evidence based research-tested “happiness practices”—and tracks the progress along the way
