About Us

The Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Centre for Skill and Vocational Education (PDDUCSVE) Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak, has been established with the objective of promoting skill-based, vocational, and employability-oriented education in accordance with the vision of National Education Policy (NEP)-2020 and the growing demands of industry and society.

The Centre aims to bridge the gap between academic education and industry requirements by providing practical exposure, professional training, vocational education, entrepreneurship development, and employability enhancement programmes. The Centre focuses on developing technical, professional, communication, digital, managerial, and life skills among students, employees, and lifelong learners through various training programmes, workshops, certification courses, internships, and industry collaborations.

The Centre also works towards promoting innovation, self-employment, start-up culture, and community engagement through multidisciplinary vocational and skill development initiatives.

To emerge as a leading Centre of excellence in skill and vocational education by empowering learners with industry-oriented competencies, employability skills, innovation, entrepreneurship, and lifelong learning for sustainable socio-economic development.

Mission

  • To provide quality skill-based and vocational education aligned with National Education Policy (NEP)-2020, industry standards, and emerging employment opportunities.
  • To bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements through practical training, internships, apprenticeships, and hands-on exposure.
  • To enhance employability, entrepreneurship, digital literacy, communication, and professional skills among students and learners.
  • To collaborate with industries, government agencies, training institutions, and professional organizations for capacity building and skill development initiatives.
